Ebisu - Exhibition of Photography in Meiji Era


At Tokyo Photographic Art Museum an interesting exhibition is held until 7 May, 2017.

The theme is 'Dawn of Japanese Photography'.

Through the exhibition you can know how was Japanese photography in Meiji era(明治時代, 1868~1912), in which the western nations urge Japan to make diplomatic relations and photographic technologies were introduced for the first time in Japan.
